Hello, my name is Olivia and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working under the supervision of Jodi Abramowitz PhD.
I am passionate about helping individuals and couples live better and more authentic lives. I strive to connect with my clients by creating a strong, genuine, therapeutic relationship which is so important to successful therapy. I support individuals encountering various mental health symptoms, relationship challenges, and family conflict as well as helping couples to improve communication and connection.
I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University and I earned my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Fitness, Nutrition and Health from San Diego State University. Additionally, I have completed the Emotionally Focused Therapy Externship.
One of my special interests is integrating my passion for athletics with mental health counseling. As a former Division I tennis player, I understand the unique pressures that can come from competitive sports. In this role, I help adolescent and adult athletes overcome obstacles and blocks in order to increase performance, mental strength, and love of the sport. I also love working with high performers and those wanting to engage in personal growth so they can thrive.
When I am not with clients, you can find me on the pickleball court, listening to live music, exploring new coffee shops and enjoying quality time with the important people in my life!
