Cherrylin Mucho AMFT/APCC
Cherrylin is supervised by Dr. Jodi Abramowitz
Hi, I’m Cher! I am so glad you are stopping by to read more about me and how I might be able to help you or a family member.
My biggest goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space to support healing. This is paramount. Everyone’s healing journey is different and I individualize treatment to meet the needs and goals of each client. For kids this might mean implementing creative and play based interventions and for adults it might be treating an underlying symptoms that is leading life to be unmanageable. With this, I bring to the therapeutic relationship energy, warmth, empathy, understanding, and a mindful presence.
I see my role as strengths based, one in which I am empowering of my clients, supporting them in accessing their emotions, acknowledging their achievements, and helping them to recognize self-worth. I am collaborative in my work with individuals and families as we create and meet treatment goals.
From finger painting with my kiddos to creative affirmations and health routine with my adults, I am grateful to be a part of your journey.
