What it’s like working with me:
If you are a parent or caregiver, give yourself a moment to take a deep breath. Raising children can be equally as mind boggling as it is joyful. This is difficult stuff that you’re navigating. I see you. If you are seeking support for your child, I am here to partner with you. As a play therapist, I utilize a child-centered approach where children are able to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through their first language: play! My role is to support your child’s needs individually as well as to collaborate with parents/caregivers in creating a plan to continue growth outside of session.
With older teens and adults, my goal is to build a safe and understanding therapeutic relationship so that you can be your full, authentic self. Together, we will work to create space for healing; whether it be past trauma or current life stress, I am here for you and you are not in this alone. You are the expert on your life and experiences and I am honored to bear witness to who you are and support your healing along the way.
