Natasha Jackson LMFT
Hello, I’m Natasha, and I am glad you are here to learn more about how I might be able to help you or your child. I want to acknowledge that the first step on the path to healing can be the hardest. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling life, acknowledge a need for change, and put in the work to make this happen. I am grateful to offer my clients a space to be heard, be seen, gain insight, and develop strategies that put you in the driver’s seat of your life’s journey.
I have worked in the mental health field for the last ten years in various levels of care treating, children, teens, and adults through a wide array of diagnoses, life events, and relationship challenges. I operate from the idea that all things unknown can bring bouts of fear, or feelings that you have not yet learned to communicate. This is part of being human. Together we will work to gain more clarity on specific challenges and anxieties and individualize a treatment plan to help you address these challenges and minimize the barriers to living your best life.
Empowerment, self-love, self-care, and the ability to heal from all things life may throw our way are central to my therapeutic approach. My goal is to provide you a safe, calm, compassionate space, where you can experience comfort in being your authentic self. The therapy room will become a place where you can learn to ride the wave, while waiting for the waters to calm, celebrate all victories, big and small, and heal, unapologetically. I always knew that I wanted to be in the helping profession, as helping others was always a passion of mine, and I am lucky and honored to be able to do this work.
A little more about who I am outside of my therapist role: I am a mom of a 14yo and 1yo, grew up by the beach but don’t know how to swim, am a big foodie, and share a birthday with my mom!
